Integrated kiosk and website Banff / Calgary Airport Shuttle Visitor Tax Refund Kananaskis Country has 15 designated backcountry campsites in popular areas. Campfires are permitted in some of these but stoves are recommended. "Safeguarding Wildlife and People" a booklet by Kananaskis Country has many good ideas about backcountry camping. These booklets are available at all Natural Resources Service offices and Information Centres.
